Can\\\’t wait. I think if a team dominates this series they will go on to win the division. If they both suck it up then the Card\\\’s will win it.

So far, I\\\’ve got a 12 pack of Premiums, and the loser has to grow and wear a porn star mustache for a week riding on the cubs.

    Go Cubs.

I don\\\’t know if this series will nail it down, both teams seem to be afraid to run away with it. And as usual, the Cards aren\\\’t afraid of anything this time of year. It\\\’ll be an interesting series, anyways!

PS…… what\’s with the \\\\\\\\\’s being added on their own when we apostrophize? ISA seems to be possessed, again!

I am seeing the cubs. The cardinals can\’t handle the cubs that has been proven the last two years in their series together and the brewers struggle ALOT with the cubs as well.

Man the Brew-Crew is choking this thing away. Best talent in the division, now it might be time to go out and get the best coaching….

Yes, the Brew crew has let the pennant slowly slip away in the last month.

I beg to differ about the best talent in the division. I haven’t really seen much out of them all year against the cubs. Game two today I got the cubs on this one as well.

not worried about the cards either. Cubs can handle both teams quite well.

The Brewers need pitching, defense, seasoning.
They have guys to bash the ball but that won’t win for you.

No Honda tonight?? …..Cubs lose, Cubs lose…..I shouldn’t say that quite yet the Brewers bullpen has to make an appearance yet

Nice to see Sheets back, this should boost the Brewers chances for the stretch run, loosing your ace for 2 months hurts. Then again we have a few more weeks left for Sheets to get hurt again….Recent history show’s the Brewers will take the rubber match in Chicago today best talent still could win out, yes the Brewers need seasoning and they are getting it now!

I wish he would be more aggressive on the bases and the thing that really drives me nuts is he rarely plays small ball with the top half of his lineup.

Time to sack Yost if they don’t win it this year, cubs might have the payroll but the brew crew has the talent, time to find a good coach, this team dosen’t need to go out and spend big money to bring a winner home they have all the talent in the world right now….

all I can say is I have run into cubbie fans at the stadium this year and you are a pretty typical cub fan, good luck to the cubs this year I’m sure the world championship won’t enlargen your heads anymore than your win loss record does now

The funny thing is the cubs record has improved all through the summer unlike the brewers which has declined the WORST in the majors.

Not looking good today for the astros. HHHMM maybe if the brewers were better they wouldn’t have to rely on other teams to help them.

Looks like its the Cubbies turn to choke, losing 3 of 4 to LA at home. Hope you enjoyed the game today Honda, Completely Useless By September (CUBS). Here are a few classic quotes to enjoy: “One thing you learn as a Cubs fan: When you bought your ticket, you can bank on seeing the bottom of the ninth inning”- Joe Garagiola. “The only bad thing about being released by the Cubs is they made me keep my season ticket” – Ken Reitz-ex Chicago third baseman. “You get tired of looking at garbage in your own back yard”- Cubs manager Lee Elia commenting on why the Cubs got rid of so many players. “If I managed the Cubs I’d be an alcoholic”- Whitey Herzog. “Its hard to put your finger on it. You have a dullness of mind and spirit to play here. I went through phsycoanalysis and that helped me deal with my Cubness”- Jim Brosnan former Cubs pitcher. “There’s nothing wrong with this team that more pitching, more fielding and hitting couldn’t help”- Bill Buckner…..That was fun now bring on the pennant chase…….GO BREWERS!!!!!!
