Bruce is putting out a new album October 2 and the tour starts that night. With the full E-Street band, he will play St. Paul November 2nd.

Sit Tight, Take Hold, Thunder Road! I\\\’m a big fan as you can tell…..

I have been a big boss fan for years, and have seen him in concert 3 times. One of the best performers I have seen. Heard his new song on the radio today at work, it sounded all right. I will definitely be at his show nov. 2. I cant wait.

The guy has gotten a little too political for me to care, I am sure he will have a few “its America’s fault” songs on his latest CD….

    I agree also.
I used to like him until his politics showed his colors.
They are not red. white and blue.

I agree regarding the political take, but I can’t let that influence my musical likes. I was probably one of the few non-lefties who went to see the Vote For Change tour. Good music, and I tuned out during the political stuff.

I did pass on his last tour with the Seeger Sessions Band, too much fiddle for me.

I personally do not judge a person because of their political views, it is a free country and people have the right to be involved in politics if they want to. I respect people that actually have some conviction in their beliefs and try to do something about it. No I did not go to his political fundraisng tour, but if people did they knew what it was about before they walked through the gates. I do not appreciate Bruce for his political activism, but for his timeless music and his high energy performances. I am not going to dog a person because they are political, heck I think more people should be, because it is our duty as citizens to vote.

Something about rock stars and movie actors telling me how to think or vote rubs me the wrong way, using there so called power to sway people to vote there way because they have money and power to do so…..good luck to the boss, he wont be getting any of my hard earned money any time soon or my votes…

    Mikey,
Your are exactly right. The rock stars and movie stars have every right to express thier liberal political views. I tend to try and not support those that don’t share mine. Is Hillary or Obama going to be making a guest appearance at his next tour?
