    Hi all,
Have to admit that I went out bass fishing and really enjoyed myself!?!? Looking at puting together a tackle box to help out instead of paying my buddy for every lure I lose of his… I know there were a few posts on this previously, but can\’t find the posts yet.
Anyway, looking for the basic must haves to get it rolling. Thanks for any input. I need to have something to do to bide my time until the REAL fishing season starts in November… Thanks.

For starters your buddy should be paying you .. for helping him get rid of those things. Now he had a reason to get real lures.

Secondly step away from the Bass forum…. Just turn around and RUN.

ohhh a lighter is a must for any bass tackle box. Because that way when you finally realize that you\’re BASS fishing you can set the thing on fire. ( I bet with all that plastic in there it would start right away, and even have some neat colors.)

Spinnerbaits, Swimjigs, DT-6, Flippin Jigs, 4/0 hooks & assorted bullet weights, Scum Frogs, Popper, Buzzbait.

    That should get you started.

well the things that I have in my tackle box is this, not in any particular order.

*3/8 to 1/2 ounce spinner baits with 2 blades
    *some deep diver crank baits
*some plastics, beasts, worms 4\” and 7\”, tubes, RT jig-n-pigs, hooks,
*top waters, frogs, skitter pops and props, buzz baits,

I find out of my stuff, I use more of the plastics now, like senkos, and 7\” worms. I also like to use the RT jig-n-pig (either camo color or black/blue), I also use spinner baits, yellow and green (either with 2 gold blades or 1 gold/1 silver or chrome.) most of the time, it is a texas rigged something or another.

Good list, but I would add in bags of plastics:

Brush Hogs of some variety, tubes, Sweet Beavers, lizards, and some good old worms. And Senkos. Maybe some flukes. Color not a big deal, get some in black, some in Junebug, some in green pumkin or watermelon. Smoke or white too.

    List gets expensive fast.
