I wasn’t going to post on any more of these but looking at the radars I thought maybe one last time just in case any of you are in the S to SE part of Minn, N to NE Iowa or SW Wisconsin. If you live in N to NE Iowa, S to SE Minnesota or SW Wisconsin, you might want to keep an eye on the radars and National Weather Service reports National Weather Service reports and radar for Rochester

    And Northern Iowa

Also the National Weather Service sat image

Best radar view for that area

Be sure to listen to your local radio, TV and the NOAA weather radio.

    Stay safe guys.

Looking at the radar at 11 pm, it almost looks as if that one storm straight south of Rochester on the Ia/Mn border is winding up counter clock wise, which very wouldn’t be good. Its just west of Decorah right now.

You were on the very north side of this. It looks like its going to hit Brownsville.

We had high winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning sometime early this morning here in DBQ. I haven’t heard how much rain we got but I had at least a couple inches where I live based on the depth of the water in my pick-up bed. My neighbor lady’s loaded walnut tree isn’t quite as loaded this morning either. It would be difficult to walk across her backyard without stepping on a walnut. The squirrels will be working overtime today.

Looking at the forecasts and radar display, I’m wondering what all this is going to do to the corn crop. Watch the price of corn from here into this fall.

Just got a call from Dave and the Volgas up 2′ and the Turkeys up 3′ thats quite a bit of water for those two rivers. This time of year the water dosen’t hurt the corn as the ears are still developing some and filling out. The corn crop is suppose to be pretty nice this year and it won’t hurt the Rochester area where they irrigate, it will help. Look for nice falls colors with all this ground moisture for sap.
