To all my fellow Cheeseheads out there. The Packers didn’t look to bad last night. Especially the defense.

Seattle was playing without either starting tackles or there QB but yes they certainly looked good, gotta feel good about life after Favre, Rodgers looks like he could step in and play at a high level now, the D-line and the whole D in general looks like they will be a force this year and they are built for the long term with the young talent they have locked up. Should be an interesting year….

i think the defense is going to be special. really like James Jones as the third reciever. that Bigby is an animal. predicting a sweep of the Vikes again this year…

With the type of D the vikes showed last year and in two pre-season games farve should be a lock for 25-35this year.25-35 INTERCEPTIONS.lol

I guess you viking fans can only hope that Favre throws some interceptions and that they can run them back for a TD. That seems to be the only means of scoring points for the vikes. The points are certainly not coming from their offense. I too predict that the PACK IS BACK!!!!!

I am as fired up about the Pack as most on this board and was happy to see them annilate Seattle.

But for now I have decided to keep quite and let the results speak for themselves.

My hunch is fewer turnovers and a better defense will result in a darn good year.

As an aside does anyone realize Favre is tied for winning more games then anyone on NFL history. Please, if you are a Packer Fan don’t knock the guy — let the Vikes folks do that.

Preseason is by no means a gauge as to how a teams season will go. While the Pack looked great don’t go buying your play off tickets just yet, we have a ways to go. But having hope is a good thing right?

I’ll be pulling for the Packers and bears as I always have while continuing to enjoy watching the Vikes self destruct. Honestly I’d like to see more competition from both the Vikes and Detroit but I think that will be a ways off yet.

FOr anyone thinking of going to a Packers game don’t hesitate. Watching AJ Hawk play is very cool, that guy is intense. Of course the added bonus of seeing the best QB to ever play the game has its certain rewards as well.

This is year three for Thompson so Packer fans should sure hope to reap from his re-build job, I am going to see the Pack play the Vikings Novemebr 11th, first game for me since ’99, it will be very cool to see the new and improved Lambeau. We are renting a 26′ RV for the weekend also known as the party on wheels, its actually cheaper for us to go this way versus hotel/motel in Green Bay on a Packer weekend, either way the season goes this is a very young team that should be on the rise……
