well.. its been a LONG while since I produced any pix here.. and Ive quite a store of them built up… we will start out with some animal stuff….. guess I better “pounce” right on things.. with this puma…
kinda gives me the creeps to think these guys might be out there watching me.. Im hearing more and more reports of these guys being sighted around Mn and Wi….

ok.. sometimes if you look up.. you see some strange things.. in this case I saw a Coati looking back at me.. this was in Arizona though… not something you will see around here in the wild!

oh well.. why pull punches.. I had an amazing fox encounter on the north shore the other day and I have a TON of great fox shots.. here are a couple of good ones.. (and a pretty average one too, bet you can guess which are which)…

Ken, Thanks!! A cousin of mine was face to face with a mountain lion out in the Black Hills of SD. He said definitely the most scared he has ever been. Beautiful creatures, but scary as hell.

    Ken,

Fantastic photos. I’m sure glad to have you posting them again. I always look forward to seeing your photos. It is great to see these wildlife photos taken by an award winning photographer posted on this site. Thank you.

As far as the cougar goes there is a growing resident population here in the upper midwest. I have not run into any here in NE Iowa yet but the IDNR says there are indigenous cougars living here in Iowa. The only wild cat I’ve ever seen around here is a bobcat.

    Great as always.

Love the pic of the fawn and buck. What is the story behind that pic?
