Please join us in welcoming Brad “Grifter” Juaire to the IDA Field Staff Team
All of us at IDA have been enjoyed reading about and learning from Brad’s reports covering the Mille Lacs open water trolling bite. We are happy to welcome him to the IDA staff, and anxiously await his future reports from the water and from the field.
Here’s a little more about Brad, in his own words:
I am 42 years old and have fished all my life. My specialty is targeting suspended walleyes in the open basin on Mille Lacs by trolling deep diving crankbaits via planer boards. This is my 7th year doing it and my second year posting my experiences on IDA. I average two days a week on Mille Lacs from the opener until mid september (start of bow season).
I’m also a trophy deer hunter and hunt big bucks via bow, firearm and muzzleloader. I lease 900 acres with some friends in Buffalo County, WI and my father also owns 655 acres near Brainerd, MN. We practice QDM and invest in food plots. I’ve also hunted turkeys for 10 years in both of these states as well and posted many reports on IDA.
I think I have probably the same goals as everyone else on the IDA staff. My first goal is to continue to learn from others. This site has helped me so much in becoming a better angler and a better hunter. So in return, I would like to give back that valuable knowledge to other IDA members and in the process increase it’s member base.
I have also met so many good people on this site who sincerely care about one another. That means everything to me and my goal would be to continue to promote this site in every way possible. It’s just not always about fish. I’m also looking forward to meeting other IDA Field Staff members and hopefully become a part of the IDA Field Staff Family.
And finally, I want to promote the awesome sport of fishing and hunting to others – with an emphasis on children. This site helps me with that goal. When I was a child, someone dear to me reached out and introduced me to the great outdoors. I would like to return that favor to other children.
Welcome aboard Brad, we’re glad to have you with us!
