    Many thanks to Uffda Pete and others who were helping check on the fishing gear I left behind on Rainy Lake. Saturday night I got a voicemail from a fellow named Bob from Forest Lake, Mn. He and his kids had found my gear! He brought it home with them and then found my name from an old fishing license that was in the tackle box. He met me Sunday morning and delivered the gear to me! He refused my $thank you. Fishermen are so great!

    I guess I was born lucky.
