Looking at it on TV right now. 35W and University and it is unbelievable. If there aren’t lots of casualities its a miracle. Horrible accident.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    Where exactly is this bridge?

Even though I don’t know where it is, I still find it very interesting. Thanks

FOXNews has it live for anyone outside of the cities. It’s an absolute nightmare.

My families prayers go out to all the families affected by this.

I just made a paniced call to the wife. She was in the area but thank God she wasn’t near the bridge. Hopefully it isn’t as bad as the pictures on TV. I have a feeling not all stories are going to turn out good tonight. My prayers go out to all involved and to the people that have to respond to this disaster.

Was on that bridge about 4 times yesterday. Every time I go over it it is packed with cars and workers as of late. From just the few vehicles that are left on it I hate to think of what went in the water. Hopefully there was a chance to get most of the rest off.

This is crazy! My friend lives in the blue duplex they keep showing next to the bridge. I called him to make sure they were OK and he was so shaken that he couldn’t even talk. A prayer is being said for all those involved.

My home phone and my wife’s cell is ringing none stop to make sure that she is OK, she is one that bridge right around that time every day. Glad she picked you the kids from daycare today.
I was on that bridge yesterday also
I can not think or imagine what traffic will be like for a long time in that area. They say about 140,000 people travel on that bridge a day.
For those that do not know that is the bridge right by the Metro Dome. It was built in 1967.
How many people were going to the Twins game or just trying to get home after work?
I am sick to my stomach just watching the coverage.
I will be praying for all involved in this tragedy.

One more thing, I hope that they do not release the traffic camera footage.

I’m sure there are injuries but I do hope there are no fatalities. I’ve got that same sick feeling in my stomach as well. How can something that large fail in such a big way?

    This is terrible. Unbelievable.

I was right on my phone calling Dave… he and his cousin are out fishing! But they’re on the Minnesota River, thank goodness.

Channel 5 just reported 3 deaths so far.

HCMC is on right now saying they have had like 28 injuries and 1 death.

I was worried when I saw the school bus. I guess there were 60 kids on it, but none were seriously injured.

I live 4 block away from the bridge. Thank god I wasn’t on it. I got off work at 3pm and was across it by 330pm. Glad I didn’t go down to my spot after work though. I fish the honk your horn spot. Rode bike down there though. Not pretty wish I had a digital camera. Everyone keep the families in their prayers!
