A buddy and I were out fishing on the Apple river yesterday. We were targeting bass and it was slow. However, we were seeing tons of carp all over the place. Neither one of us has ever fished carp and I do not know what to use for bait. The only thing I have ever really heard of is corn. What else works? I think it would be fun to hook into a couple of those big boys.

dough balls work. Use really fresh soft bread and squeeze around hook. Corn too.

There is a bunch of carp bait recipes online but I’ve never tried them. Corn and oatmeal doughballs have always worked for me with the carp.
