    hey guys,

sorry to make everyone look at this, but here again, I am going to put my son up holding fish, this time he caught it all by himself and was jumping and hollering the whole time he was realing it in. I am only in the picture to help hold it, he wasn’t sure about the big mouth. I am guessing about 2 1/2 to 3 somewhere, with the warm weather, we didn’t really take the time to put on the scale or on the judge. the fish was caught on chisago on a B fish n red shad 4″ ringie rigged texas style on a 3/0 hook.

here is another first for lane, his first sunny, it was a fowl hook, we snaped a quick one due to his excitement and released, no damage to either fish or fisherman.

sure hope so, then that way he can fish tourneys and make the big $$$$ and support dads fishing habits so I don’t have to work all of the time and have more time on the water. he did make me proud today, he is always wanting to go fishing, so I figured I would let him start fishing with hooks and teaching him how to fish, hopfully in a few years, he will be using baitcasters and a 7′ rod.

    thanks

Great picture Shane!!! I hope that you didn’t explain to him that anyone can catch Bass. He is going to be a real tiger, he has that desire to fish. Now can we talk about getting him into some real fish. By next Spring he should be ready for the walleye bite and I know one old guy that would be proud to have him and his dad out for a day.

don’t be corrupting my son like that!!!! we will take you up on some eye fishing, not going to make him like one over the other, I DO fish both, just one more than the other.

Looks like a day that he will never forget.

I also agree with the spring walleye bite that you ”must” get him into.
    Thanks, Bill
