Where are all you musky guys? I check into the ML Musky forum and there is not much there? Anyone have any ideas on how to get some more people using the Ski forum?

I would use the musky forum but have nothing to post. My better hafe has had other ideas on how use my time. I have not seen my boat in 3 weeks. Mybe she will let me go this weekend.

My guess is you can find 200-300 of them on Mille Lacs this weekend.

I have been out a fair amount and have raised over 30 fish since mid-june. I have only boated 2 fish to date, hoping that changes this weekend. After talking with some diehard esox anglers and guides this summer has been a bit of a challenge. It would be interesting to know how many anglers have acually hooked a fish on Mille Lacs. There is a ton of time logged on that body.

I have too many chores to do to spend much time chasing them when they are biting, after dark.
I should be able to do some in Sept.

I have beenhitting them almost evry trip out this year on my local lakes.. while fishing walleyes.

I wont target muskies when the water is this hot… You really have to be quick with landing and releasing these fish in this heat or the mortality rate is high. Sometimes just trying to pry a shad rap out of their mouth can lead to 10 minutes of revivig a fish.
