    Hey guys I need you to help with a little discussion that a co-worker and I are having. Well here it is do you guys use any tungston jigs for ice fishing? If so What do you like and is there an advantage? Thanks guys

    I have used tungsten jigs made by Fiskas.

    They fish very heavy for their size, no kinks in the line, very easy to detect subtle biters.

    I like the #14-#16 hook size for the bigger bluegills.

    have to agree. more money, sometimes they fall apart, but not much for slack line.

    I like the Fiskas in 2mm or 3mm to caught most my fish last winter on those. Esy to fish, hook up good good all around lure.

    nothin works like good old lead! (not that i want to polute the water with lead) but seems like its weight to size ratio is better. correct me if im wrong.

    Yes, uhuh, yup. Tungston gets you to the depth you want much faster than comparable size lead. 2mm is tiny so bring a pair of 1.75 power eye glasses The 4mm seems to be the best all around size for me.
