I am looking to put in a set of Air Bags to assist in the leveling of the truck when loading it up and pulling the boat. Has anyone had any expireince with the different companies out there Firestone or Air Lift? I am leaning towards the Firestone brand but want to hear if there was any good or bad? Thanks

Niermeyer camper sales in Maple Grove put airbags in my truck and I was quite satisfied.

I put an airlift brand kit on my Chevy pickup when I was pulling a camper. Did not have any problems with it. Installed it myself. The hardest thing about is was drilling through the frame rails. The directions are pretty straight forward. A good place to get it is right up there by you at Camping World in Rogers. Best price around and I think they do installs if you need it.

While they aren’t air bags, the Timbren SES have done wonders for our truck. I didn’t like the sag when loading the box and hooking up the boat, installed the Timbren’s, it doesn’t sag anymore, still rides nice. When unloaded the truck rides stock as the pacs sit off the frame rails by about an inch. Load it up and the pacs suck up the weight, stays level. Timbren SES pacs will be installed on our next truck as well, they take less than an hour to install. Very good product. TIMBREN

I put a set of firestones on my ford 2 years ago. No more sagging rear end. I usually run 15 lbs in them normally but when hauling the fire wood trailer with a 6 ton load I put 50 lbs and no sag at all. Ordered offline for 3/4 price of retail in LaCrosse. 15 minutes a side installed by myself. I would rate the install a 1 on a 1-10 scale.

I put Airlift on my Chevy. In cab control is sweet. Didn’t have to drill my frame?
