    I must agree to disagree with you on bonds I hope in fact he gets the Pete Rose treatment.

    However I do enjoy his rookie card you have posted.

    Has anybody ever wondered, like me, how many homers Babe Ruth would have hit if he had been a fitness freak instead of a binge eating, binge drinking, all-night carousing, load of fun? Add steroids to that and he’d have hit over a 1000!

    Babe couldn’t hardly run the bases at the end of his career, he could barely walk a few years later, and he died at a young age. I would guess if he had had the chance for a do-over he might have had a little less fun and taken better care of himself.

    But my main point is: That a Bluto Blutarsky like Babe Ruth had the career he did is amazing. I love Babe! I love Hank! Barry who?
