Check out the Petrol Pumper on Hwy 52 by Koch Oil Refinery for diesel prices. I know gas there was $2.85/gal while Hastings has $3.05

I think the diesel increase was long over due.

Apparently, because of increased processing to reduce the sulfer in the diesel, it increases the price. Over all price average will be about $0.30 a gallon more than gas prices. It is all about meeting the new emmissions requirements.

Gas is at 2.89 here, diesel fuel went to 3.09 today. Im sure the incentive for a diesel is gone for me. Ill stick with the gas engines for now.

2.89 a gallon at the pump
    2.10 on the farm

Diesel should be darn near a dollar cheaper than gas because it takes less to make diesel.

Dont be using that farm diesel on the road. They are nailing people here for it.

These requirements have been known for a while, why the increase now? Feels like a way to stick it to us right here >: moon:

Similar to the increase of $.45+ over a 2 day period July 9-10 while I was out at Michigan and then it has since dropped to a lower level which is much appreciated!

At times it feels like we are living in a third world country with the fluctuations in pricing that we see.
