Anyone have any alumacraft dealers in the upper midwest that they recommend? Thanks.

I would highly recomend LaCannes in Fairbault Minnesota
Ask for Nick, and tell them that Bob Carlson sent you! they have a nice website also:
http://www.lacannesmarine.comJuly 19, 2007 at 9:47 pm #592126That’s where I got my quote from that several people thought was a little high. ’07 navigator 175 sport with 150 yamaha 4-stroke for $21,000. What do you think?
July 19, 2007 at 10:06 pm #592136I would think that you would have a hard time finding a better price than LaCannes, shop around for yourself and see what you can find, even if you do find a better price I doubt it will be by much and you will not find any better service than LaCannes anywhere. Also you can always ask LaCannes if they will match a competitor’s price.
July 19, 2007 at 11:13 pm #592158Smitty’s Marine in Lake City, Mn. 651-345-3990 ask for Ken or a salesman. Tell them Bill Cadwell sent you.
Thanks, Billcorey-studerPosts: 423July 19, 2007 at 11:36 pm #592162You could go to Alumacraft’s web site and look up a dealer nearest to you by zip code too. http://www.alumacraft.com/dealer.html
July 20, 2007 at 12:44 am #592165Another vote for LaCanne’s, I purchased my last two boats from Nick. They have the best price and service around and I have had three of my friends buy their boats there in the past two years.
EngePosts: 5July 20, 2007 at 1:49 am #592181LaCannes all the way! I have bought six boats from them. There sales and staff are all top notch. Talk to Nick, Cory, or D.J.. You wont find a better group of guys to deal with!

EngePosts: 5July 20, 2007 at 1:56 am #592185Drantel’s Sales and service in St Peter MN. The Boat factory is right there in town so they have quite the selection at great prices being they only have to go 3 blocks to get them from the factory to the floor!!!
July 20, 2007 at 2:46 am #592196Considering that F150 is near a $12K motor installed I would have to say that getting that boat and a trailer for $9K isn’t that far out of line.
Does that $21K include tax, title, and license??July 20, 2007 at 3:30 am #592228Stark’s in PDU gave me a better price then anyone I checked in Iowa.
July 20, 2007 at 2:02 pm #592330FOr a purchase of that size I recommend you do your own home work and not listen soley to others. Get 3-4 prices. Then you will know.
July 20, 2007 at 2:05 pm #592333I purchased mine at Stark’s in PDC WI. They beat everybody at the time, it does pay to shop around. All may give a great price, depends on how bad they want that boat sitting around for another year. Give Bay City Hardware a call, they deal in Alumacraft–never know where you will find a good deal, all it takes is a phone call.
July 20, 2007 at 2:22 pm #592347I’d highly recommend Warner’s Dock, New Richmond, WI. http://www.warnersdock.com
Very good prices and great service.
StaleMackrelPosts: 443July 20, 2007 at 6:09 pm #592444O.K. here is my take S&M in Oronoco, MN. They may charge just a bit higher than others but the service and top mechanics make up for it. If you buy from them you will never go back to cheaper priced dealers. This is if you live in the living area of Oronoco. They do not rip you on work done. For example the hourly rate is charged by the minutes and not by the hours. Their head mechanic, Nate Winkles is just really great and is very up to date. If you need work done like spring check up or any other problem they just tell me when to bring it in and the work is done in hours. Wow! They are great! I am happy to endorse this operation as I used to go to the best priced dealers but for a few dollars less it was more costly in the long run. If you are in an emergency situation they will take care of you also. Just check with Ted Zabel (Shad and Zabel Furniture) in Plainview, MN and anybody else that is their customers I am positive that they will tell you the same!
