I am biking 280 miles next week through the following cities..Walker, Park Rapids, Itasca State Park, Wadena, Fergus Falls, and Alexandria. Can anyone comment on the general terrain of these roads? Or by chance is anyone from the site also riding in this event? This will be my 1st tram. I would very much appreciate prayers for safety and success! Thanks all…Kathy

Are you riding roads OR are you taking the trails. The heartland trail runs from through that area.
Walker to Park Rapids: fairly flat, with many turns.
Park Rapids to Itasca State Park: HILLY with many turns and twists.

Can you take Bobber with you, since he has no boat 
The terrain as you go thru lakes country from Wadena to Fergus Falls will have a few rolling hills, but nothing to severe – should be a beautiful ride.
I am a supervisor for the Parks & Recreation Dept. in Fergus Falls and you will be staying at one of our Parks next Thursday. Not sure I’ll be too involved with the event but I know they have a lot of things going on in the Park and around town. We’ll have several staff members from our dept. working there so tell them to do whatever and just say Trevor said so!!

Kudos to Trev and his team at the Parks and Recreation in Fergus Falls! It was a beautiful park and the City of Fergus Falls was the best when it came to welcoming all the tram riders and providing us a safe route through their city….Thanks to Trev and his team!
Glad you enjoyed your stay! I was amazed and the number of riders and the support staff and everyone else affiliated with the ride. I didn’t get much time to spend in the park with my hectic summer schedule but it looked and sounded like everything went pretty smooth. By 9:00am Firday morning it didn’t look like anyone had even been there – you sure get early starts! Glad you enjoyed it and maybe see you back next year?
