    Jack,

only a half hour left. I bet you could knock off early today and they couldn’t do much to you.

just one thought, if you have all of this time now Jack, does that mean you are going to catch BK’s all time high mark for most posts in a single year??

Not sure if that is possible. I mean I would assume he’s going to atleast try to fish a little bit more now.

you just have to remember that BK sleeps half of the day away every time he is out catting and he is too poor to get himself a boat puter for his cat boat. so if you wake up early, make a few thousand posts real quick, then go fishing, come back and make a few thousand more, you would catch him in about 9 months. it would also take a miricle or someone going and duct taping BK to his chair with a plate of homemade chocolate chip coookies just out of reach. that would keep him quiet for a few days.

You will be busier now that you have retired. Not sure how that is, but everyone who retires has less free time than when they were working. Have fun fishing!

    Jack,
Look at it as God closing one door and opening up a new one in your life. Best wishes in whatever you do.

It is my retirement. but I had no choice as the job I have been in the last 6 years, has new equipment going in, that replaces the need for my office. I had a choice to drive back to Princeton and work Flight Service traffic again, but I just could NOT do that drive again.
Monday afternoon was my last day. This morning, was up at 8:30am, got on the bicycles with Katie, went to Rosemount to play some tennis, got nothing done, and had fishing club business meeting this evening. not bad.

(Chappy, Sunday, Katie and I went on a 100 mile ride with a Church group, followed by a barbeque)

I have not even been Largemouth fishing yet this Spring. I have caught a ton of Smallies, but will sure have to get out some rubber frogs, (very soon).

Thanks again Guys for the great Support.

Congrats on a job well done Jack.

We wish you the best and Derek is right, somedays it is ok to sit back and watch the sunset with your feet up and a cold in your hand remmebering the “good ol days”.

Have a fun retirement and may you chase big fish every day you choose to do so.

    Congrats Jack,
39 years, holey smokes. Quite the accomplishment.
Enjoy the time and freedom to get out when you want to get out. See you next Wed. Dave

Have FUN Jack and put some largemouth bass at the top of the priority list. Just because you are retired doesn’t mean you can goof off. Heres your next assignment: FISH FISH FISH. Now get busy doing it.
    Thanks, Bill
