I was wondering what the advantage to lead core would be in the river where most of the trolling is from 7-12 fow. And if you run a flouro leader. I am thinking about trying some leadcore or snap weights.

The advantage for us is to be able to use a smaller bait like a #5 shad rap and still get to the bottom in the increased flow we have here on pool 16, I don’t like the snap weights as well because I don’t think the bait runs as well. As for the leader I think most guy’s including me run fire line or stealth.
