I am looking to buy a camper in a Mille Lacs resort. Does anyone know where to look?

    Thanks in advance

I’d take a drive around the lake and hit the campground resorts. You will find “For Sale” signs in most of them. Many of these campers you will find have not moved for years and have decks or sheds built on the lot. Most will sell with the remainder of the current years’ lot rent paid. One thing to check is the resort’s “Bulletin Board”. Most have them just inside the front door. Right now is a good time to buy.

I had a trailer with a deck and sheds on Mille Lacs up until this year. Really enjoyed it until I found out that the Resort I stayed at was selling. My wife and I decided to buy a small house in a town on the Lake. The house is 1/2 block from the water with a 3 car garage on it. Great for storing my boat and room for lots of storage. We really like it. It is getting harder and harder to find resorts that have RV sites. When the resorts sell they are getting bought out and Condo’s are being brought in…Good luck..The best way to find a site is to drive around the lake and see where you think is the best place with open sites or places for sale…

I seen a camper for sale on the south end, right off hwy 47, across from the golf course. I for the life of me cannot remember the name, I think it is the S. Isle campground ??? Anyways, its right up front.

How totally ironic. I just got back and stayed at Barnevelds Resort on the northend. There is a 36 footer that is a 1992. In great shape and very clean inside. Awesome view of the lake, the lot sits on top of the marina so your very close to your boat too. Lot rent is $1200 but its probably paid for the year. Barnevelds is a quiet resort. This trailer is a complete steal at $7,500. Owner bought it this summer and never uses it. I didnt get the owners number but you could probably call Will Barneveld and get the phone #. The resort number is 1-218-678-9919 or 1-218-678-2433

If you buy it, I’d like the couch sometime for my finders fee. JK
