Going to canada this week what do I need to show at the border?

Drivers License, Birth cert. for any kids, I can’t remeber if you need one also but never hurts to have them. Where are you going?

When do you need to start showing Passports? I heard they where making it a law now to have one to go across the border. Might wanna check on that.

Went to Canada first week of June. Went thru at Ft. Frances. All they asked for was our picture driver license going into Canada and coming back into U.S. We brought our birth certificates just in case, but didn’t need them. Passports will be needed next year though. Kinda late but you should also get a certificate from your auto ins. to prove you have coverage in Canada. Talk to your agent, he will know what you are talking about.
