I was thinking of signing up for this Lake-link.com. Does/has anyone on this board, which I trust implicitly, ever used, been a member of that sight? I was thinking because of the topographical maps, that it might be a decent site. Before I spend the $34 a year, I was looking for some feedback!
    Thanks

After being an active participant of that site from almost the very beginning, I paid the $34, when the option was offered. After a few months, I was offered a full refund. I’ll leave it at that. I will tell you that “integrity” doesn’t have the same meaning to all of us. In addition, I found the quality of the maps to be less than desired.

I really can’t say I got my 34.00 worth the two years that I paid for. Partly my fault I suppose because I didn’t utilize that much of the site. It seems to be set up mostly for Wisconsinites, which is fine, but I’m from Ia. and just didn’t see a lot of benefit for me. Also, there is a lot more bickering going on there.

I paid to be a member for the maps. BUT…The WI DNR now provides maps on their web site so I let my membership expire.

Personally, I feel it’s over rated and the forums are tightly moderated. Very tightly! Very little lake or fishing information.

Thanks for the info. I will spend the $34 getting my kids some tackle for their ‘new’ tackle boxes.
    Thanks

    Steve,
go to Fleet Farm and buy an access card to mapcard.com. A former business associate owns the site and it’s great. It’s only 12.95 or something like that.
