    I heard it was from Sweden.
    And it was a different srain of pike.
    Just what I heard.

    I heard it was from holland and kstp news ran it as a fish from Rainy Lake with out investgating it.

    Its probably from European water. In an In Fisherman magazine a couple issues back they listed all the world record Northerns and they come from Europeam countries and crush our records.

    What’s making the European pike so much bigger? Is is a different strain of pike? Are they just under fished in Europe?

    Saw hundreds of them on the Cedar last night. Had trouble taking the bait though.
