I’ve been here at the lake, with my family since Sunday. There have been storm after storm roll through, since we’ve been here. I took the boys out Sunday night, and they each had a 16″ bass for their biggest. Yesterday, we spent more time in the chocolate shop in Galena, than we did fishing. We spent a couple hours last night exploring Hell’s Branch. HB feeds the lake, and the Apple River. It’s going to be a beautiful day here in Northwestern Illinois. I’m chomping at the bit, waiting for the fellas to wake up. We are going to hit it this morning, if they ever get up. Mom and the boys are going home sometime today. If we don’t do well today, I think I’m heading to “13” tomorrow. Thursday doesn’t look good with storms and 30mph winds.
I’ll post a report, if we ever get something going.
