    decided to take 3 of my girls kids out fishing last monday morning, went to jimmy’s to get bait and was very dissapointed, no fatheads . so we had to run to hudson and hit a parade in bayport . finaly got up to launch and it was full, as i was launching a boat came in and opened up a spot . well we got up to our eye spot and the battle was on the 10 year old hooked a 20″ for his first eye, then the 16 year old hooked a 19″ and the 14 year old a 16″ within the first half hour. we ended up catching 12 eyes and 16 silvers. kept 6 eyes for the table. so needless to say the kids had a blast and it eneded up being a good day after the bad start.

    come on Nascarfan… there aren’t any walleye in Croix… you must have been somewhere else..

    I would have to say that’s a first…Jimmy’s being out of bait. I guess it does happen. I’ve always go there for my early season suckers. It’s the only place around that has 7 inch suckers …or sucker minnows before walleye/northern season opens.

    The parade would have made me say…”I don’t believe it!”

    we was on the croix. and all i can say is it was north of hudson, does that help?

    first for me at jimmy’s also.

    Even the very best bait shops run out of minners from time to time. Everts. 4 Seasons. It happens. Mostly because these shops are popular shops.

    The next time it happens make them eat a nightcawler.

    Hi Nascarfan,

    I am sorry to say that we ran out of bait on Sunday night . I found out you missed our bait delivery by 20 minutes when you were in on monday morning.
    I can say there is no excuse for this. If i had one……All I can say is that we try very hard on having plenty of bait at all times however we need to be carefull on ordering to much otherwise we sit on it and its not the fresh bait that we are known to have. So its a guessing game at times. We had plenty of gallons of fatheads going into the Memorial weekend and we got busier than anticipated. Again I am sorry.

    I do appreciate your business and hope you can let this one slide.

    I am gald to here you still had a nice day of fishing with the family
