We had this installed by a dealer in Cross Lake. Since I had no idea what I was doing I figured that would be the best bet.

But I cant get the GPS to link up. Not sure if I am doing something wrong. My handheld all I need to do is power it up and it takes care of the rest.

I can switch back and forth between sonar and gps fine but it bothers me that the gps will not work.

    Any ideas???

I have the same unit, I just turn it on and in less than 30sec my way point is aquired. is everything connected? there is a connection piece that goes from the puck to the wires for the unit, then the connection goes to the unit. Almost like an inline fuse set up.

Check your colored wires. I think their called nemo wires? Put electrical tape around each end individually. They should be under your dash and just hanging freely. I was told that if they are touching each other they can cause inteference.

Sounds like they hooked it up wrong. The puck needs to have power hooked direct also. I’m assuming it’s a 2000 puck?

Thanks for the info. I am going to check it tonight.

I will make sure the fuses are still working and look at the wire to make sure they are not touching.

Just drives a guys nuts when you have a bunch of money into a new product had “Pros” install it and it does not work.
