Anyone else’s car end up looking like a golf ball after Wednesday’s storm? I didn’t think mine was too bad until I saw it in the sun this morning

I didn’t plan on fixing it, but now, after seeing the extent of the damage, I am torn. It’s not really a great time to pony up my deductible, but it’d be nice to have a good looking car again.

    Just needed to vent

If you plan on driving your car till it falls apart, I wouldn’t be too quick to repair it, unless it is new.

If you are going to trade it in in the future, get it done…..

check with your ins. I had it happen to me one time and had it coverd in full they told me it was “an act of God”
and that my deductible did not apply to that
    good luck

Even if you don’t get it fixed, why wouldn’t you put an insurance claim in? If your driving a 200.00 beater, this wouldn’t make sense. Or if you have a poor driving record and the damage isn’t more than a grand you may not want a claim to hit your insurance. I would think any level of hail damage could be well over a couple grand if you want to fix it. Sorry about the hail damage. That does suck.

I did just talk to the insurance company and am waiting to hear from an adjuster. I’m sure there is at least $2000 damage and it’s a 2004 Accord, so it’s no beater.

Our Yukon is probably going to be totalled. Hood, roof and all quarter panels are shot.. Progressive is about a week behind..
