I started diving about 4 years ago & love it. Local diving (Omaha, NE) isn’t the best vis but we dive some rock quarries & sand pits that have vis up to 15′.

I make several trips a year to Missouri & Arkansas. June 15 is the spear fishing opener in Arkansas & I don’t miss that.

Have dove Flordia, Calif & Mexico. It’s great!

I started diving in Cozumel about 8 years ago. I typically do about 6-8 dives every february in Cozumel. I too just did the tourist quickie course, but am going to get certified this summer. I think once you do it once, you are hooked.

I got certified in college. Random moment where I thought it would be fun. Made the wife go with ang get certified as well. It is a hoot

I have only dove a few times in fresh water, but every trip I go on I dive Salt. Really cool thing to see, and I just can’t get enough.

I have always wanted to dive one of the great lakes around a ship wreck, but have not got that done yet.

The one thing I do know is it is an expensive hobby, and lord knows I don’t need another expensive hobby

Cozumel is a fantastic place to dive I have been diving for about 10 years and as far as minnestoa goes, the mine pits up in Crosby are the best places I have gone in MN. The best times are later in the fall when the water really clears up, but still not bad any other time. There are tons of places to camp and there is a great rental shop in Brainard, and they are very helpful with places to go and what to expect. There are some nice fish in those pits too, fun to watch and chase around. There are a few very large snapping turtles that we always seem to see when up there too. If you want more info fell free to send me a PM. Good luck on your test
