Boundary Water Fires?

    Looks like a few storm fronts have moved through the area, anyone have any idea if the fires are out? Don’t think they are out of the woods yet as far as a fire threat goes. Just curious, we were talking about getting a fall trip together, just hope there’s enough moisture to get the berries going so the bears don’t look at us like their next meal.

    At last word on the news the fires were out….they will be letting people back in sometime on Tuesday…This is for the US side of the fire….they said that there were a few hot spots in Canada yet… KARE 11

    This fire particularly had my interest as it came within a mile of the cabin of a friend of mine who hosts a big group of us each summer. Their property was saved but I know that hundreds of structures were lost across the area.
