Hey all, if you are in the market for a new boat, car, truck, whatever… do YOURSELF a favor… Give Bob Bowman a call!!! This morning, I will be taking my new ride out for a spin on a local lake. That’s right. Bob assisted me in financing my new toy that is sure to put me on some MONSTER Walleyes this year!!! It was so easy and painless… after a very short time on the phone with Bob, I was ready to go. Not only did we get the loan squared away… but due to some promotion’s they have going on… I actually got more cash than I was asking for! The details are secret… you will just have to contact Bob and find out how he can do it for you.

Bob, Thanks for your assistance man!!! I owe you a trip out in the new rig this summer!!!!

    All hail Bob and CCFCU

I have been a CCFCU member since the late 80’s and have nothing but good to say about their service and profesionalism. Several of my family & friends have also joined the CCFCU based on my recommendation and have experienced the same high level of service and satisfaction.
We have always been treated like we are the most important customer, and everything else will wait until we are satisfied. My mother worked for years in a bank and she did her finances with CCFCU, not the bank she worked at – because she could get a better rate!

I have not had any personal experience with Bob, but all bets are if he works for CCFCU, he is one of the best.

    Thanks CCFCU.

LOL!!! Yep, was out on the water… though maybe not quite what you think.

James, I bought a 2006 Alumacraft 1650 Jon Boat with Tunnel Hull and a 35 horse (50 horse factory) Jet on the back. This baby is made for flying through 6 inches of water. As I had stated in the Rum River forum… I am planning on hitting up this river quite a bit over the next few years. I have fished quite a few lakes… but this river has hidden treasures and I plan on finding them (and releasing them as well). I needed this baby to get me up and down the 143 miles of river.

And for what I was doing… the trailer that came with the boat is not NEARLY as nice as the boat. The boat has supposedly only been in water 3 times (4 at the time I bought it and tried it out). The trailer looked home made. I took the new trailer I have my 2005 Alumacraft V14, slid the V14 off, reset the bunks, crank, etc… I ran down to a small lake about a mile from my house. Launched the boat… ran around the lake for about a half hour. Hit shore, ran back home dropping off the old trailer, hooking up the new one, and racing back to the lake to load her up. Next time I have her in the water, I am going to have to make some more adjustments to the trailer. It works for now, though.

All I can say is…. BOB ROCKS!!!

Sweet looking ride Dave. How is the steering on that rig? Heard that a jet drives a lot different than a prop. Dont let off the gas in the corners. When are we hitting the river?

Well, I took it for a spin for about a half hour today. And Yes, Jet Drives are VERY different than props. Be very careful when turning. You could very easily be left behind. Sharp turns cause the back end to swing way out while leaving the bow stationary. Pretty wicked. They also stop on a dime… which I think is why they say to not stop/slow down in the middle of a turn… Doing so stops you right away… and you could end up swimming. I think once you are used to it… it should be fine. I think I will take it out on a lake for a day of fishing and running around before taking it on the river and dealing with a new technique as well as river current. Soon… very soon. Mike… I am thinking next week… what do you think? PM me and let me know what day you are available.

Oh… Brian… I am a walleye guy all the way.

Just kidding on the I think you and I should hook up and I can teach you the finer arts of walleye fishing while you teach me the archaic methods of cat fishing!!!

    Gary,
BTW….boated a 38″ muskie on Saturday and had another on…. by accident of course. I would never waste my time actually targeting those crazy beasts.
