solar panel

    I was hoping someone could help me out with this. We have a pontoon lift that has a solar panel mounted on it that keeps the battery charged for the lift battery. My question is could it be attached to my boat batteries along with the lift battery all at one time? I am only using the boats on the weekend, so the batteries would have all week to charge. The panel is about 12″ x 18″. Has anyone ever done this? Thanks for any replies.

    I would guess it depends on the charge output rating of the panel, too much draw and it may not charge anything properly

    I suspect the panel was designed to charge one battery?

    I think so, I’m not sure how many it can charge at one time, I will have to get more details on the size.
