May 11, 2007 at 11:06 pm #570556It was 2.95 in Apple Valley and 3.25 in Farmington today. Can’t wait to top off the 27 gallons in the boat and 20 in the truck. I might have enough money left over for a can of Copenhagen and minnows/ leeches if I am lucky. Unfortunately, that is my flexible funds for the rest of the month!
May 12, 2007 at 1:44 am #570576Glad I filled up the boat and truck on Monday for $2.92. Tonight it is $3.29 in Eagan.
IdaRatherFishPosts: 45May 12, 2007 at 2:24 am #570586I would like to post an amazing gas price that I found on my home lake of Sherman Reservoir in central Nebraska.
Today I pulled up to the floating pumps at the Tradewinds Marina and filled up for $3.08 per gallon for unleaded. Gas prices in town were running in the $3.19 to $3.24 range.
Amazing; thanks Jim and the gang at Tradewinds. Too bad I couldn’t get the pickup down there.
Good Fishin’
djMay 13, 2007 at 10:21 pm #570733And here I was afraid to ask what they were at Tradewinds, Jorg!! Not a bad deal at all.
We saw gas was 3.06 in Pleasanton on the way home. We pulled in and saw “out of service” on both sides of their SINGLE pump.
They should really change that sign!May 13, 2007 at 10:27 pm #570734I’m not gonna get all political here, but I just want to say that THIS IS RIDICULOUS and someone needs to do something about this…..
Someone should make me president and I’ll institute my

May 14, 2007 at 2:25 am #5652273.31 in northern suburbs of chicago. In the city it is about 3.50 a gallon.
May 14, 2007 at 3:21 am #570770Down to $3.09 here again after hitting $3.17, it can keep falling and i hope it goes to atleast the same amount where it was befor this last hike and lower. Seen a sign on the east side of town yesterday right on first ave, our main throughfare with 25,000 cars a day useing it, saying to not buy gas on the 15th, i hope people stay tuned to this and don’t give up,,,then the prices will come down once they see people are organizing, it will become too political then with the elections coming up. If alot of people start watching whats going on and join in, things will start to happen to the consumers benefit and someone might force the mideast prices down.
May 15, 2007 at 2:33 pm #571328I was perusing a similar complaint on a photo site where photographers were talking about how the oil prices are already affecting their business… and someone posted a couple of links… they are VERY sobering… I know some will say its untrue and fear mongering.. I couldnt say if it is… but there are certainly truths contained in there… I suppose the main thought would be ..
what if this isnt a giant conspiracy by the oil companies to make more money… what if they are not building more refineries because they know that oil production has peaked and why waste money building something that wont be needed?
