I do NOT worry about the price of gas. I drive a chevy silverado that I think gets about 11 to 13 mpg. I live far enough away from work that I measure the distance in time rather than miles (about an hour and a half EACH way). I have 2-3 mowable acres of grass that I cut with a small lawn tractor that sucks gas on the weekend like I do beer. Between all that and pulling a 3000 lb horse trailer to horse shows on weekends… I KNOW the how the gas price affects people. I DO NOT CARE. I figure, the less I care about gas prices… the less money I will spend at the hospital in 20 years dealing with a heart attack or high blood pressure or something else stress related. BRING IT ON!!! (and no, I am not rich by ANY means… average at best)

Just buy a small boat w/ a 10-15hp motor….you’ll do just fine. You’ll be amazed how long 5 gallons of gas will run your rig……

I am glad I live within walking distance to the lake and is another reason I am really happy my biggest motor is a 90 horse which is not my first boat of choice.. My 60 horse is my first choice and is pretty decent on gas…

Years ago there was a guy who fished Minnetonka with a 14 foot Alumacraft. He pulled the boat down the road with a motorcycle . Looked pretty scary to me.

We’ll never see gas prices like they have in California. I read somewhere one time that they have 17 different blends of gasoline in California.

I can’t afford to fill the tank completely. So I just put in half a tank twice as often.

Hey now, between that and the 1/2oz of Two Cycle oil, Margaritas aren’t cheap!

By the way, I use Klotz snowmobile oil in it!!

I can’t wait till July so they can tell us what the oil companies’ profits were for the second quarter.

….mmmm, nothing like the smell of Klotz 2 stroke on your breath after a long day!

You know, a lot of gas stations, especially in the cities have gone to pre pay or pay before you pump. Most people think that is to prevent drive offs – but in reality, it is so you can get pre approved for the financing you need for your purchase.

That’s a great way of thinking about it! Now, is TCW-3 Klotz Snowmobile oil the proper oil for a 2-cycle blender?

Yes, because of its low pour point, it will maintain its viscosity when you add and blend in the ice. Obviously, the TCW-3 will mix with “anything”…

Blend away and pass me a glass.

I was kind of hoping to keep the oil separate from the Tequilla and splash of sweet and sour! But if you say so, I will try it! Anyone up by Randalls Resort on LOTW is welcome to stop by for Margarita Monday!
