Officer Dave Holm Update

First, I would like to thank all of you that have shown your support for the upcoming Dave Holm Benefit. Last night on Fox channel 9, the lead story was about Dave. There will also be a story on channel 4 and 11 tonight. Dave is a fighter, and an inspiration to all that have, or may face tremendous adversity in their lives. The benefit is just under a month away, and I will continue to ask for your support so that this event may be a tremendous success. Please pass the word on to friends and family, business and professional contacts, or anyone else you think might want to help. Every little bit helps….

That was a great spot on the news. He is a couragous man and we should all be lucky to have such fine men and women in the field of law enforcement. Being a police officer I feel proud when I see things like this and how the community comes together to help fellow brothers and sisters in need. I say thank you to all the help.

I saw the KARE 11 story last night. Wow, that was hard to swallow…. Can’t imagine the pain, both physical and mental. Tough man he is.

Didn’t realize you had posted this… I posted a link to this benefit about a week ago. This happened really close to my home and I knew about it before he was transported away from the scene. Tough guy! I will be going to the benefit next week… and will have my checkbook open.

Just to let everyone know your donations are greatly appreciated. I will be leaving the office soon for the benefit that starts at 5:00. Unfortunately Dave has developed a rather severe blood infection from one of his skin grafts and most likely will not get released to attend tonight. We know he will be with us in spirit, and will continue to fight the good fight throughout his recovery. As a side note tickets will be available at the door and I continue to encourage anyone who is able, to attend the event.
