What’s your fishing calandar?

    Every spring, Iowa Game and Fish magazine publishes their ‘fishing calandar’ where they give best-bets for each month of the coming year. I’ve pretty much worked into my own fishing calandar and am curious what other’s look like. Mine is as follows:

    January
    Crappies & Gills through the ice
    ___Lake MacBride
    ___Palo Lake (Pleasant Creek)
    ___Mississippi River

    February
    Crappies & Gills through the ice
    ___Lake MacBride
    ___Palo Lake (Pleasant Creek)
    ___Mississippi River

    March
    Last gasp ice fishing
    Ice-out pike/walleyes
    ___Wapsipinicon River
    ___Mississippi River
    Ice-out catfish (only done this once, but would again)
    ___Coralville Resevoir

    April
    Prespawn Walleyes, Ice out crappies
    ___Coralville dam
    ___Mississippi river
    ___Clear Lake
    ___Lake MacBride

    May
    Crappie spawn
    ___Coralville Res
    ___Lake MacBride

    Whew! That took long enough… seemed so simple when I started. The underscores are just there to cause an indent (leading spaces were ignored).
