Hudson area ‘Eyes ?

    I have never fished this area and was wondering where you can get Walleyes this time of year,Is the St.Croix the only border water or is the ole Miss an option.I would like to know where to Launch also.I have all day to fish with my daughter tomorrow.KD

    Mississippi south of prescott is open year round, as is pool 2 for year round catch and release. The st.croix is closed for walleye, bass, pike, musky. (until the season opens) Check the regulation book

    No. That area is not pool 2. It is boarder waters but that section is not open at this time for game fish. Like Nick said down river from prescot is open. That section of river opens next weekend.

    Pool 2 is on the mississippi from the ford dam to the dam in hastings. Pool 2 is catch and release year around.

    Thanx for the info guys,Is there only one boat landing in Prescott? I have a 17ft deep v boat I am assuming that is ok.I just want to put the daughter on some fish and explore a new area at the same time,maybe some white bass fishing except I know nothing about fishing for them. She likes to go on road trips.
