I THINK GLENN JUST WANTS SOME NEW STUFF, LIKE ALL OF US, BUT REALIZES THE BLESSINGS AROUND HIM THAT ARE THE TRUE PRIORITIES IN HIS LIFE.

I WANT A NEW GPS TOO, BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF POSTPONING MY DAUGHTERS COLLEGE EDUCATION OR THEIR NEW BASKETBALL HOOP I PROMISED TO PUT IN THIS SUMMER.

COME TO THINK OF IT, THE HOOP AND THE COLLEGE FUND COULD BE ONE AND THE SAME IF I WORK THEM HARD ENOUGH!

    GOTTA GO, WHERE’S MY WHISTLE!

June? You have a sister? Wait…I have to take out the…(no, I can’t say that! )

A few years takes the edge of…doesn’t it.

With years comes wisdom. One learns to sort out the important stuff from the B. as in B., S. as in S. (Hail the flashlight king!) After 20 yrs in a B.S. marriage, I called it quits for religeous reasons………he thought he was God, and I didn’t. Too much B.S. and the sense of life is too short to spend it with a doorknob. Met Jim, and the last 16 years have been the best ones yet.

Time to start using the two day rule. Laying in plain sight for two days. Plain sight means in the garage where she will never look…

make sure the bills are paid, you not over your budget and then you should be able to take a few bucks here and there to get stuff you wanted. I have always done that and will keep on doing that. I work a side job painting, I take part of that money, like 100 or 150 and keep for me to do as I please with no questions asked, because I was the one out working on a saterday and sunday. not to mention, I also give me wife a few of the green backs as well for her to do with as she sees fit. the rest goes towards bills or where ever needed. but I also do the, show a few months after I baught it and say i have had it for awhile. I have spent soooo much money buying stuff, I don’t get bday presents and stuff like that from her because I have already gotten what I wanted.

I have it made. My wife gives me $4 per week, and lets me spend it however I want. Just last week I had saved up enough that I was able to go out and eat a fancy lunch at McDonalds, and I got to supersize

Just dinking around. My wife normally is the one telling me to get things I want, and there is my cheap butt not wanting to spend my moldy money

I am pretty lucky to have a wife like mine. I don’t need to worry about just buying stuff or going behind her back. She is fine with me buying stuff. She likes to use good equipment when we are out and she likes to be on fish and goof around with the electronics. She does get a little excited when I buy 5 shad raps all the same…but then after we loose 2 or 3 she understands….Good Luck, but I’d stay honest with what you are gonna do…

Iv’e always subscribed to the age old expression, “It’s easier to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission”

disclaimer= this one doesn’t always work out to my advantage

My wife and I have three accounts: mine, hers and house expenses. I do not say anything when she gets something new and she just gives me the look when there is a box addressed to me sitting on the front step every other week

That’s how it works at our house too…We contribute a little extra each payroll to maintain a cushion for some of the bigger bills like insurance premiums, taxes, etc. It works for us anyway, maybe not for everyone though

Sounds like our wives are very similar…anyone who knows me knows I do enough to get myself in trouble…I have a tough time telling her something without my foot going directly in my mouth.
