Well I have never understood the feeling reading other peoples email’s in regrauds to childern untill today.

My wife came home from Target and told me she took a test there. I was thinking a BP test?? She told me no a EPT test?

I am going to be a daddy. It is really sinking in tonight! I was a little shocked at first. There are so many places I want to go and things to do………..

But I thought wow we have been married for 6 years and been through every high and low a couple can experience. But the news of bringing a little one into the world has put me on cloud nine!

I understand the feeling now! WOW All I can think of is the happiness ahead! I love this woman and I feel like telling the whole world!

Just had to share the news! I AM GOING TO BE A DADDY!

    Thanks,

    John

Congrats! You are looking at a whole new kind of high. Nothing else like it in the world. Once you hold that little one in your arms, and he/she wraps their little hand around your finger, there will be nothing more important in your life.
Again, Congrats to both of you.

    congrats to both of you
    you won’t miss doing anything
just think of all of the places you have been that you need to revisit with your child
I rember going to the BWCA with my daughter. 20years after I had been there in high school. It was better than the first time because I could share it with her, and she then understood why I loved it so much. enjoy the time they grow up so fast and then there gone

congrats on that, remember, if you have any questions on being a daddy, feel free to ask. because once you have that baby, there is no owners manual that comes with it. I am sure you both will do just fine, but there are many ways on saving some $$$$ that all of us other daddies could help you out with.

so when is the due date??? once again, congrats

Congrats Klink. If you think your on a high now, just wait until you see the baby for the first time. I was a complete blubbering idiot when my daughters were born. I couldn’t even talk to tell the rest of our family if they were girls or boys.

You think this is a cool rush. Wait til the little one is born and in your arms for the first time. Amazing what it does to a person instantaneously.

    Congrats!!!!

    Congrats!

During my son’s delivery, I could not even count for the pushes as I was too intrigued by all that was going on. My wife still won’t let that go. One of the most amazing things you can share with your wife

    Congrats again

Cool. You are embarking on a great adventure. Beware the first ultra sound our tech told us to sit down and said there are two in there. Try planning for that one. Nice to find out now too because garage sale season is upon us and you can get lots of used but very nice stuff in those.

Thanks for the replys! I was a little nervous at first but the last picture posted on here from Zach has got my mind wondering where this journey will lead us!

Just got back from the doc and she said the due is around Dec. 23rd. Everything looks normal. No more fun stuff for the wife for a little while. And I can’t wait to clean cat boxes for the next 8 months. I knew I should have gotten a house pup instead.

I am looking forward to being to introduce a little person into the hunting and fishing world!

Having kids certainly makes life different and does make you re-prioritize what you can and can’t do, BUT IT IS ALL WORTH IT!! I’m a dad twice over and love every second of it. Congrats to you and your wife.
