    Everyone please join me in wishing Chris a happy seventeenth birthday.
    As a Dad I could make some wisecrack now but instead I think I will just say a prayer of thanks for the wonderful son that God has given me.
    I have watched my little boy turn into a young man and somewhere along the way I got the best fishing partner and hunting partner that any man could ask for.
    LIFE IS GOOD!!

    I forgot to mention that last night when I was talking to the boy I told him we could go out to eat where ever he wants tonight (Mom is out of town and I don’t cook). He said “I don’t care Dad as long as we stop on the way home from Evert’s” so were are going to hit the river after school today. Anyone out and about stop by and say Hi–you can’t miss our boat since the boy has been decorating it.

    well happy b-day Jr!!! now I wished you would have told me that you where going down to 4 tonight, I would have sent along my gps and you could have marked all of the hot spots that your dad don’t tell anyone about. anyway, sure hope you had fun fishing and look forward to seeing you and the clan at the GTG and also maybe one day here soon.
