I have a cabin rented at Dean’s (Evert’s) for next Friday and Saturday nights. We have had a few guys that cancelled, so I have some openings for two people. You can either bring your own boat and share the cabin cost (about $25-30) per night per guy, or I will have room in my Lund 1800 Fisherman for two. I am a teacher and I guide in the summer, but usually in the Brainerd area, so I am no expert on the river, and have only been down twice this year.
You could either meet me down there on Friday night (late), or I am leaving Big Lake around 9:30pm on Friday and you could ride with me. I plan on fishing Saturday all day and Sunday morning. Let me know if you are interested in a PM. I would like to meet some more IDA’ers. My father in law is already coming up with a couple guys and his own boat. Just plan on grilling something for supper on Saturday, so meals won’t be too expensive either.
