repairing wader pants

    i was gonna go fishing with some wading pants, when i notices there was a leak in the left foot. i wanted to reapair it since it was only a small leak, but i dont know where to start. does anybody know what kind of material i need or what kind of glue. thanks.

    I’ve had good luck with shoe-goo
    I think wal-mart sells it in sporting goods section

    Goo if it’s in a tough spot…a regular tire patch works great any other spot…

    I agree, Shoe-Goo works on everything. You can get it at Fleet Farm, Home Depot, Menards, and just about any harware store.

    Shoe-goo works great – I like to put on a thin layer and then use a small piece of thin fabric and push it into the goo – allow to dry for a bit and then add another thin layer over that… that said – like somone mentioned – on the boot feet I do like to use the self vulcanizing bicycle tube style patches that have you scuff the area first, use some shoe-goo type material they include and then the patch goes over that – they WON’T leak after that – provided you find the right spot anyway! Chuckles
