This was sent to me by Jan at Roy Lake Resort on 4/7.

I’m thinking the truck traffic is about done.

    Where is that exactly?
I think I may have found a way to get out of my lease.

Tuck….according to their website…..Lake City, SD.
5 hours and 10 minutes from Hastings….275 Miles.

Better hurry with ice that thin…it won’t last long.

That picture was not from 4/7. That picture has been on other SD websites for atleast a month…maybe more. It was not on Roy Lake either. If I remember right it was on Kettle/Cattail…there is a narrow area that connects the two lakes and he drove right over it. The other site has many more pictures and you could see probably 50 or more trucks in the background. The rtuck still had dealer plates on it too!!

Very well could be afull…that was the date the email was sent to me.

Here’s her email… shame on me…since the photos along with fish pics came with the same email…I assumed it was on Roy Lake.

    Thanks for the correction.

Ice fishing stayed pretty consistent this winter with both pan fishing and walleye/northern fishing holding strong.

One gentlemen also had a problem this winter ice fishing, but the ice going bad for quickly.. The ice is ready to go all we need to do is getting rid of the freezing temps which should start this weekend. This should be our last day. Cattail is pretty well open except along the shore line. Roy is covered in a very thing sheet of rotten ice.

Spring fishing should be great because of the ice going off late. Can’t wait to get going.
