Oil filters for a Mercury 4-stroke

    Does anyone know where i can buy oil filters for a four stroke 40 mercury other than the dealer?

    I would think cabelas or how about a oil speacialty place, I just go to my dealer, I think that it is best to do that since you may save a dime going elswhere, latter down the road it could cost you more in repairs as some oil filters are not all equal. What is your cost on the filter, I will see what it would cost me.

    Try your local NAPA dealer , they do carry some marine filters and such products.
