What can I say? BRING ON THAT GLOBAL WARMING!! Its too cold outside!

The windchill is currently 5 degrees in Minneapolis.

With my lifelong science background I will always believe in the scientist over the politicians – therefore, I do believe the massive numbers of humans on this earth have significantly contributed to global warming. But whatever the reason, this weather is driving me crazy. We are getting swings in weather like I have never before experienced. What happened to the average temperature? It is either 20 degrees above normal or 20 degrees below normal – it is never normal anymore — makes for some real tough fishing. I am glad I am not living in a US costal or arid SE area, I believe within 50 years those areas are going to be in serious trouble.

So… why dont we all light a cigarette lighter ad see if we can make it hit 50 degrees tomorrow?

That was probably the dumbest thing I ever thought of.. but man I am sick of the cold!

No…I know it’s not the dumbest… but it was one of the funniest!

To get us just above the normal mark…let’s all stand behind a cow while we lite’em up!

If you think the smokers will look silly standing behind the cow with a lighter.. just think of how silly the non-smokers would look while rubbing 2 sticks together for ignition(behind the cow).

I can remember the temps going from 45 to 85 over night not very long ago. Yet last night at 8:00 pm it was 21 degrees with a windchill of minus one degree below zero. That wind is brutal. I too am sick of this weather. I want to go fishing not sailing 50 mph from the wind. Hopefully next week we get the 50s ”temps” back.
    Thanks, Bill

As of now.. the 1st forcast 50 I see is around next sunday if the forecast holds close to true. I can live with 40’s.. but I cant enjoy the 20-30+ mph winds.

It wasnt all that long ago we had a summer that barely ever hit 70 degrees, i think there was 1 day over 80… at the same time I remember sitting in the middle of Millacs with no wind and 103 degrees.

Minnesota we are guaranteed one thing.. there will always be major fluxuations in weather.

Dear old Dad had a love/hate of April.

Most of the time it was warm enough to get out fly fishing in the afternoons for a couple hours…but since April is the windiest month of the year, found out that the fly line needed to be in the water, not standing straight out like a flag to catch fish.

The grass I seeded last week has a healthy case of frost. I think I’m gonna go outside and spray Aerosol cans into the air until it hits 70.

Try 17 below wind chill two days ago. My dog wouldn’t even go out to pee.

Mother Nature has terminal PMS. Need to blow up her just to kick start summer.
