Got this one tonight, kind of makes you say humm!!!

    Urine Test

I have a question, not only for Douglas County , but for the entire state of Oregon— the entire country for that matter:

Like a lot of folks in the US , I have a job. I work, they pay me.

I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit.

In order to get that paycheck. I am required to pass a random urine test, which I have no problem with.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don’t have to pass a urine test. Shouldn’t one have

to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get backon their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping

    someone sit on their [censored].

Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I’m one of those bleeding heart liberals, but I definitely agree with you on this thought.

I like the sound of that.
I’m sure plenty of OUR money is being invested in the black market.

There wouldnt be much of a welfare system..Imagine all the “social workers” tied up in these people our taxes wouldnt have to pay for as well..once it comes back they failed it should be faxed directly to the local police…Imagine all the intel on the users they would have.

They would never make that a law, that one makes too much sense

    I couldn’t agree more!

And let’s see the welfare participants working…doing community service acts> such as picking up garbage along roads! Planting trees ect.

    Excellent idea!
But I don’t think it would go over too well here in the Peoples Republic of Minneapolis.

While I may be running the risk of getting this post blown away by possibly turning it “political”, everyone should copy and past this to a letter or e-mail to their local, state and US representatives. You could change the county and state to fit your letter recipient. I would love to see something like this enacted!

How about putting in docks and fixing up boat ramps? That would leave the DNR guys free to do more habitat work.
