Twins & channel 29 Audio problems

Was it just Charter Comm last night or were others having audio problems of the game?? I could not hear a word the announcers were saying, only crowd noise.

BTW, we are in 1st place!!!

We have DIRECT TV and had no problems with the audio at all last night.

I listened to the game on the radio. It was weird not tuning to 830 to hear the Twins game. And it was sad not hearing Herb

They have too many guys in the booth. They were telling stories and every once in a while mention what happened with the last pitch. Pretty tough to listen too, hopefully they’ll shut up and pay attention to the game.

Watched on FSN and it was fox 29 telecast audio was fine. Looks like the bats are still strong! And a stellar Bullpen

I suspect it was Charter, converting an ESPN2 broadcast, from FSN to Channel 29. Ya, that confusing.

When I looked at the program guide, it was suppose to be an ESPN2 game, but since we are local, it was blacked out. However, they had the FSN crew doing the broadcast, I assume since they showed Bert a few times.

At any rate, I couldn’t hear squat, and I’m blaming Charter Comm at this point!!

Kooty, we have Charter at home here also, I have had the same problem on our Fox channel #9. I can hear the crowd, but not the announcers, commercials and other channels also are fine, have only noticed it during Vikings games, But the strange thing is that it only happens on one of TV’s…I just figured it was that TV.

Ok, I think I know what you guys are talking about now. Same here. I had to go into the TV menu (Not the cable menu. It’s where you adjust color and tint ect.) Turn off the stereo setting and everything sounds right. Only on Vikes and sports brodcasts and only on that TV. I think because it has nice speaker in it or something…????

Kooty, was it all game or just some innings. I have charter cable to here in Farmington, but I didn’t have a trouble with channel 29 which is channel 3 here in Farmington. Hopefully this helps.

Kooty, did you have any problems with the audio last night?

Well, I was eager to try Jon’s quick fix last night too, but it was working ok. I did adjust the audio options anyway, but it worked no matter how it was set.

Spent the evening working on the puter at home. When I did finally get some TV time, the game was over. I guess I’ll have to wait until the next time.

My symptoms are exactly like Jon described above. Commercials on the same channel and all other channels are fine. Only during the twins broadcast is this a problem on this channel.

Did you ask Matt’s girl if she could figure out the menu settings on “her” big screen like Jon mentioned above.

No I didn’t!!!! Rough life she has!!! All I know is Matt has some very big shoes to fill!!!!
