Austin Fluekiger(9yr old) makes KAAL-TV

    It was exciting time for me as a dad this week. My boy and I took Jason Howland from KAAL-TV out in the boat for some walleye fishing. Wouldn’t you know it my boy got is first fish on camera and first fish of the day . I couldn’t of been more excited and proud of him.

    I am going to go with….The bibs were keeping me warm. I will leave it as that.or….the wife would of yelled at me if I didn’t have Austin bundled..

    Glad everyone enjoyed the story. Jarrad and Austin were great and the experience was a blast! Definitely right up there as one of my best Howland’s Headin’ Outdoors! Except maybe for the time Tuck and I went catfishing and didn’t catch anything but mosquito bites. Just kidding Tuck!

    Yeah, but we could of hit a deer in the head with a cat rod!

    Hey! Let’s go deer hunting and catch cats!

    AND!!! Who had to leave at 10:00 because they had to me up for the morning show????

    Nice job on this shoot anyway! Austin sure had something to talk about at school I bet!
