    Has anybody out there used a TR-1 autopilot on their kicker motor?

    Yes. They come highly recommended by many folks here on IDA.
    If you do any serious trolling, these are a must have item. They are now being sold at Evert’s. Or will be shortly. Very easy to install…

    Can you finetune the speed on them?

    Yes, that is what they do. They are basically a reostat that when turned increases or decreases the RPM by use of a little servo motor under the hood of your kicker.

    Thanks alot for the info, was looking at a tr1 ot trollmaster, sounds like the tr1 is the way to go.

    Trollmaster is made by Topline Controls. They have excellent customer service, and really take care of folks.

    Do you know when Everts is going to get them in, I called the company today and they said they just got bought by Garmin last week and doen’t have any dealers in the midwest yet.

    They are in the process of setting Dean up as a dealer right now…
    I am going to let Dean address the rest. I am not sure what the exact timetable is..

    It sounds like you can’t figure out how to use it… I guess the boat would have to come out of the garage to use it, GO PIG SLAYERS
