Having problems keeping the pressure in the primer bulb… motor almost starts up, but fails due to the pressure.. eI can get it started after 5 minutes of squeezing while I turn key. Any suggestions are welcome…

I would start troubleshooting this problem by borrowing a line with bulb from my neighbor. You may have a small leak (air) in your hose or bulb. If that does not cure the problem, check to see if the pickup in the tank is corroded or fouled up with gunk-stale gas or from condensation. Then check out the fuel pump by removing the line at the carb. and turning the motor over. Be careful where you point the hose as gas may splash out. Wish you luck

For $10-$12 I would replace the bulb and hose. I had a very similar problem with my old 115 and this fixed it for me. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Agree, new primer bulb. Bad check valve.
